Fee Payment Policy
By supplying your details, you request and authorise the Centre for Martial Arts and Human Development Incorporated, and its subsidiaries (including the Kodokan Cummings Karate Dojo), herein referred to as the 'Association', to debit from my/our supplied payment method the amount specified in the Fee Schedule for the once-off Enrolment Fee, and then the Monthly membership fees on the 1st of each month until cancelled by me as per the Fees Policy.
I understand that all fees, once paid, are non-refundable. All cancellations must be made via completing the form at http://www.karatecanberra.com.au/cancel/Monthly membership fees are calculated on an annual basis and paid via direct debit on a monthly basis over 12 equal payments per year, and come out on the 1st of each month from January to December, this takes into account the holiday periods.• Cancellation of fees - Membership fees can be cancelled at any time, but notice needs to be given by completing the online form on/before the 20th of the month prior to when you wish to cancel (otherwise the next monthly fee will be incurred but held in credit for the student if they return in the future). We do not have annual membership fees. Cancellations can only be accepted via the online form.• Suspending fees during term time - If a student is away for 3 or more weeks during term time (not including our scheduled holidays), the fees can be put on hold once per year for up to three months. If fees need to be suspended for more than three months, the membership can be cancelled and then the student re-enrolled when they are able to return. Please note that if the suspension is not due to medical or special circumstances (ie you are taking a break from training) your place in our program is secured so long as we still have enrolment places open. If your suspension is due to medical/special circumstances, your spot in all programs remains guaranteed for the duration of your suspension.• Suspending fees during non-term time - As our membership fees are calculated on an annual basis and paid via 12 equal payments per year, fees cannot be put on hold during non-term time. If a student wishes to not pay membership fees during non-term time, they can cancel their membership but will incur a re-enrolment fee (as per the Fee Schedule) upon resuming classes, as well as their normal monthly membership fee that would have been due (as per the Fee Schedule)
• Fee declined - If a student's monthly membership fee is declined, it will be re-scheduled for 3 days time, if it is declined again, it will be attempted a third/last time in an additional 3 days. If it is declined a third time, and requires the Association to follow up personally, the student may not be permitted to train until membership fees are paid in full. CMAHD Inc reserves the right to debit a $10 dishonour fee if a student has their membership fees declined more than one month without notice to the Association.
By appying to the Association for membership, the persons named on the forms (or their parents/guardians if under 18) have read the terms and conditions and Fees Policies of the supplied and agree to those terms and conditions.
